Professional Sports Event Photography

Vancouver Sports Pictures provides event sports photography, on-site instant printing, digital originals and post-event internet storefronts for the purchase and delivery of sports action images.

HOW IT WORKS:

 VSP staff photogaphers and event producers will come to your tournament and set up a photo booth production area, indoor or outdoors. We use your game schedules to see how many photographers and producers are required based on the size of the tournament.

1. We start with official team photos and player headshots if the schedule allows time for this
2. Next it's action pictures by team or by game (depending on the event), and averages 150-200 digital pictures per game/team
3. Pictures are brought by the photographers to the production booth after each game
4. Images are imported via firewire (hi-speed transfer) to our server and placed in specific folders
5. Proofs are printed of each team/game
6. Fans can arrive within minutes of a game ending and review numbered proofs to find the pictures they are interested in
7. Fans then view the images of choice on wide-screen monitors
8. Tournament graphics are added and  images are edited and cropped onscreen in real time
9. Images are approved, sizes chosen and pictures immediately printed (i.e. 5x7 in 13 seconds) on high speed, professional lab dye-sub Sony photo printers and/or Canon professional inkjet printers for oversize posters (approx 5 minutes for 13x19" full colour poster with graphics). On-site sizes include 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, 11x17 and 13x19" posters
10.  Images are placed in frames or folders and payment is processed by cash, credit card, debit card or cheque
11.  Some oversize or blended pictures will require custom photoshop editing and will be mailed to your home
12.  Images are placed online after the event for additional viewing and ordering

In addition, Vancouver Sports Pictures will provide:

• Free press/media news photographs
• Remote server access for the free downloading of post-tournament pictures for the exclusive* use of the organizing body for web, marketing and promoting the sport
• No-charge, freelance sports photography (larger events may be eligible to receive a percentage of sales return, which is negotiated based on the size of the tournament and the type of sport involved)

   In return for services provided Vancouver Sports Pictures requests, when possible,  the following from tournament organizers:

• Tournament website logo and link to the online storefront to direct fans to the galleries after the event
• Your hi-resolution tournament logo that can be added to images, e-mailed to us in advance
• Accreditation as the Official Photographer for the event
• Temporary work area (i.e. tables, chairs, tent if you have one) in a high-traffic area, with access to power, to set up on-site photo booth equipment for printing and photo orders
•  Pre-scheduled times for official team photos for every team when schedules permit
